Business Cards

You want your card to stand out in a sea of business cards, so you want it to be interesting and yet still not too busy. If you find it's getting hard to fit everything you want on one side you may want to look into making a two-sided business card.

What is Bleed, and do you need it?

Continue reading to understand how we build you the perfect business card, and how you can help assist in its creation.

One of the most important details to understand when designing printed material such as business cards is Bleed.

Take a look at our mountain loving friend on the to the right here. The PINK HIGHLIGHT around the image represents bleed, or the part of the image/design that is cut off during production of the business card. Why do we do this? Look no further than the image below where we can see the final card.

With bleed, we can allow the image and design elements of the card to “bleed” off the edge, creating a clean, professional look. Nice.

At Liberty Printing, we use a standard 1/8 inch (.125) bleed. If you are designing your card yourself, the best way to ensure a high-quality product is to include bleed in your design. Without bleed, our designers have to create it from scratch. That adds design time and cost to your project. Provide bleed in your submitted files to avoid this added cost! Hey, we’re here to help save you money! 😉
